How will communal areas be used?<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-4 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:0px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:20px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h2 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:40;line-height:1.3;\">Task and background<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3 fusion-text-no-margin\" style=\"--awb-margin-bottom:60px;\"><p>GWW is developing the Kastanienquartier in Wiesbaden-Kastel (project name: <a href=\"https:\/\/wiesbaden-lebt.de\/kastel-housing-area-magistrat-beschliesst-entwurf-des-bebauungsplans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modellquartier Kastel Housing Area (KHA)<\/a>) with 272 partly subsidized rental apartments, a daycare centre, elementary school and sports hall, a neighbourhood garage and several commercial units. <b>The aim is to create a sustainable, car-free and community-oriented district with a high quality of life.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Kastanienquartier is intended to function as a<b> central district center<\/b> as well as a residential and meeting area in Kastel-West and provide an<b> impulse function for the surrounding urban space &#8220;Wiesbadener Stra\u00dfe&#8221;<\/b>.
